Still alive, albeit barely. Not home yet, but this is the first day I've had at&t service and am not paying the exorbitant international roaming rate that I have been doing on the other islands. I'm in st. croix which is part of the USVI so I get service. I fly out tomorrow and will get home pretty late Sunday night. I'll have a longer update when I get home, complete with a bunch of pix, plus I'll get to read all of your entries.

a few random thoughts on a boring saturday night.

if you can get your hands on it, see the movie 'invasion'. no, not the nicole kidman/daniel craig version, but a 2005 short film (it's only about 80 minutes) and was done by a hawaiian guy named albert pyun. it's unlike anything i've ever seen. the less you know about it going in, the better, but seriously, it's worth a view. it's super creepy, and is kind of like, blair witch meets cloverfield. it might also go by the name 'infection', as there was some legal drama regarding it's title. i watched it on timewarner calbe ondemand, it's apparently also available on amazon.

i'm super excited that the next target/go international designer is jovovich-hawk. milla jovovich is a badass, and so are her designs.

i need to learn how to save money.

i want a new car. i'm debating between in 2008 nissan altima coupe, and a mini cooper.

okay. let's talk about my super-efficient school for just a minute here.

it usually takes me 15 minutes to get from my house, to campus, to a parking space, and to my class.

i had class at 9 AM this morning. i left my house at 8:40. i just now got parked, at 11:07. i sat, trying to get in the parking lot, completely surrounded by vehicles, with my engine off, for almost 3 hours. don't you just love the first day of school. i missed my first class, on the first day of fall term. FUCKING SWEET!!!

in my saturday night boredom, i am watching the final 3 episodes of season 3 of nip/tuck on fx.
even though i haven't seen the rest of the beginning of the season.
why couldn't i just have waited until the season 3 dvd comes out on tuesday?
lol, i suck.

so i have jury duty tomorrow morning, in downtown los angeles. i need to be checked in by 7:30, therefore, with rush hour traffic and the commute time, i need to leave my house by, oh, around 6. it's 3:22 am, and i'm still awake. woe is my life, and woe is insomnia. i'm going to fucking die in 3 hours.
